Birmingham Exiles 2nd XV 0 - 31 Harborne
With no fixture for the first XV, Birmingham Exiles’ 2nds took centre stage with a Midlands Merit Table clash against Harborne on a day designated by the home club as its Memorial Day in memory of past players,
The first half was a closely contested affair; a strong run from a Harborne second rower taking him over by the posts for a try that was converted was the only score of the opening forty minutes.
Rain set in early in the second half and the conditions seemed to suit the visitors who went on to post four more tries, two of them converted, to record an emphatic win.
Next Saturday [March 23] E’s 1sts have a home league fixture against Coventry side Stoke Old Boys
